Sutro Baths - Intimate Spring Elopement Wedding in San Francisco, Ca - Grace + John | San Francisco Photographer Kept Record
Grace + John’s San Francisco Elopement with a First Look at Sutro Baths
On a 2019 Spring Day in San Francisco, California, Texas highschool sweethearts Grace and John wed in one of the most iconic spots in the city: Sutro Baths and Sutro Heights Park! It’s an absolute must for anyone visiting SF! The epic ruins are rich with history and make for a stunning backdrop for any couple looking to take photos in San Francisco. It’s not far from San Francisco City Hall, so it would be a perfect place to take romantic portraits after a courthouse ceremony! And if you’re looking for a San Francisco wedding venue brimming with character and expansive views, this is a spot worth considering.
Grace + John’s wedding day was absolutely unforgettable - in part because it was their ninth anniversary together! The unique touches throughout the day made it so special - like the custom invitation suite Grace designed herself, the Rolls Royce John surprised her with to chauffeur her to the first look, and the ceremony officiated by Grace’s aunt, with readings + prayers from family members. Later the group gathered for an intimate reception at Arguello (located in the historic Presidio of San Francisco) for toasts accompanied with margaritas - the perfect end to these Texans’ destination elopement in San Francisco!
